These are my little guy's first shoes, and I'm very happy with them. Honestly, because he's not walking yet, I didn't even want to put him in shoes, but his daycare requires them when they start pulling up. So, I wanted to get shoes with a very flexible sole to encourage proper foot development, but something that was also durable. This is exactly what I was looking for. It's also cute and well made, I highly recommend for a baby's first shoe!

These worked great for my son's first shoe. The soft sole is very flexible so he had no problem learning to walk. The reinforced toe held up well to crawling and stumbling. They looked cute and were easy to put on his chubby foot since the top opens very wide. The design is nice and went well with all of his clothes.

I bought these for my friend's son who was turning one year old a few months ago. She told me she only buys her kids shoes when they start to walk and then she just takes them to pay less... Well babies need support but more importantly they need flexibility especially when taking their first steps, and I love Pediped Originals shoes for this reason! Babies and toddlers can be comfortable wearing these all day and their feet never get sore or red marks. If you are going to spend money, spend it on something that will last and make a world of a difference in your child's ability to walk and be comfortable. I know how I feel after wearing a stiff pair of hard soled shoes all day... no way would I do that to precious baby feet. These shoes are all leather including their soft soles! The quality is amazing and my friends baby has been walking in them for 6 months now and the shoes don't have a single hole. He wears them every day and she says they are the only pair he will wear and owns. He loves these shoes so much she said she will be buying him the next size up as soon as he outgrows these! My 4 kids have been raised on soft soled shoes and don't even wear harder soles until 3 years old. I could not recommend them more. Not once have my kids had a complaint that their feet hurt or that they didn't love their shoes.

My son wears these all day long and doesn't seem to mind them one bit. Perfect shoes for new walkers. Great flexibility and doesn't restrict the ankles. Great durability even when used outdoors. Will look like new even after they've been used for a while. Very stylish.

Great shoes for early walkers.

I was expecting these to fit my 1 year old son's feet better. Other reviewers said they were good for wide feet, but they barely fit. I won't be able to fit socks underneath them.

I purchased these shoes for my 9 month old son and they fit him perfectly! I am VERY happy with them and love that they have a soft sole for beginner walkers. GREAT!!

Very cute and seem comfortable. Velcro doesn't stick great particularly with a toddler who pulls at it. Do seem a little on the smaller side but overall great first walking shoe.

Adorable and they fit great. Perfect for my little guy when he's outside on the concrete at school. Great starter shoes and adorable! He hasn't kicked them off yet.

Love these little shoes - sturdy and soft at the same time! Our 1 year old keeps them on with no trouble.

Very cute just too small

These shoes are well made, adorable to look at and after a few minutes, my almost 16 month old didn't even notice them anymore. He's taken his first steps and it seems with these on his feet, he will be very comfortable and well on his way to walking. Please be aware they do run quite small though. He is a size 12-18 months in his Robeez but he's an 18-24 in the Pedipeds. I'm glad I read the reviews before purchasing. Other than the size issue, this is a great first walking shoe! :)

Very flexible, lightweight shoes. I noticed the sole is wearing down very quickly with an active toddler wearing them almost daily after only about a month of wear. Time to move on to a different shoes with more tread. Highly recommend for beginning walkers.

My child started dragging his toes on the ground while riding on a push wagon and the thread on the toes tore within a few days - definitely our fault - not the shoes.

Great shoe for my infant! They are his first pair (he's currently a crawler) and he doesn't even know they are on; that tells me they are super comfy. Already bought a second pair of shoes in blue.

Nice fit

These are the perfect shoes for a beginner walker. The traction is not high, but there is some traction. Great for daycare where you can't really send your child to the infant room with hard rubber shoes, yet. Very easy to get little feet in and out. If your baby's feet are very fat and wide, you may not like these. Only drawback is I thought these would be breathable, but they really are not. You see mesh in the design, but there is leather underneath it. Great pattern and design and you really feel the quality in these tiny little shoes.

Very nice and built well. I like how sturdy and strong the Velcro is so little fingers can't get it apart :)

The shoes are great for babies learning to walk helping them to keep balanced. Purchased these for my grandson and they are very comfortable for his first pair of walking shoes. Even though they are a bit pricey would definitely recommend for new babies beginning to walk instead of something really cheap.

These are awesome shoes for little feet learning to walk. They keep my little man's feet safe and warm. They also stay on well for the most part, unless he is really determined to get them off. He also gets a ton of compliments! Highly recommend.

My 10 month old fits the 12-18 perfectly. These are so cute, comfortable for him and soft, easy to get on and off, will def be buying pedipeds in the future ;)

I bought a size bigger than my baby needed and it flexes and bends so he can still wear them comfortably even though they are a little big. Shoe is pretty good quality. I've had this for a few weeks now and they still look brand new - granted my guy isn't fully walking yet.

Great little shoe, just wish it was cheaper since baby's feet grow so fast!

My 16 month old loves these shoes. They look great and seem to be comfortable. I would suggest socks with them, I wish the insides were a bit softer.

These are very cute shoes and I loved the quality of the product, unfortunately had to return because our son has very chunky and wide feet.

These shoes are a great first pair for my 1 year old who is learning to walk. They're sturdy enough for outside but soft enough that it seems like he can still feel the floor some through the shoes (better for beginner walkers). Really great sale price too!

My 15mo old baby is wearing 18-24mos since the 12-18mos. was too small for him. He can wear the shoes all day. Perfect for beginner walkers. It helps with stability and helps bb avoid falls/tripping (which was happening with conventional shoes). Highly recommend! No arch support though, but I don't think that bothers/or is important at this point. The leather does have a smell after wearing them all day, but it's fine since these are the safest shoes I've found for my bb :)
