Great School Shoe I opted for this Pediped flex brand shoe to support my active preschooler. The shoes worked very well when she was running around and yet they maintained their shape and continued to fit well for the not so active times. I'll be purchasing them again for the upcoming school year. Be advised that the toes of little ones shoes were really scuffed and a layer of the "patent leather" peeled in those areas. Underneath the peeled area was a subdued black color so the shoes were still wearable and the scuffed area wasn't very obvious (except to me of course).

We love Pediped shoes for our daughter's narrow feet. These have an extra insole in them that can be removed when little feet grow - it helps them last longer! The black patent leather was perfect for all the Christmas and New Year's events. Dressy enough for a fancy dress, simple enough for a casual outfit. Great quality.

I love these shoes. They fit my 8-yr olds feet well and are very comfortable. We get many compliments because they look sturdy and safe for growing feet. The one thing that I'm not happy with and the reason for 4-stars is that they peel. When my daughter scuffs them, the outer layer peels. I also bought a red pair that are almost new, but they peeled so much that I haven't put them back on my daughter. That part is the most dissapointing about these otherwise almost perfect shoes.
