Founded in 2005 by Angela and Brian Edgeworth, pediped was born from a simple idea: to create children’s shoes that are truly healthy for developing feet. After searching for the perfect first shoes for their daughter, they designed footwear that mimics the natural feeling of being barefoot—today known as “the next best thing to bare feet.”

Every pediped shoe is engineered to support healthy foot development, with approval from the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). Our three-stage system grows with your child:

  • Originals® (0–2 yrs) – soft leather soles for barefoot-like movement.
  • Grip ‘n’ Go™ (9 mos–3 yrs) – flexible rubber soles for early walkers.
  • Flex® (1–9 yrs) – lightweight support for confident strides.

We believe well-designed shoes should never need “breaking in.” With breathable materials, adjustable fits, and flexible construction, pediped helps prevent common foot issues caused by poorly fitting footwear.
