The only ones she'll wear
My 7-year old daughter has...issues with clothes and shoes. Everything is too tight or too this or too that (unless it's got a rainbow or a unicorn, at which point it can be worn until it's a sausage casing). I typically order several pairs of shoes that meet her school uniform requirements to see what is not objectionable, and these are A+ in her book. I'd order another pair right now, but they're sold out, so she's wearing the pair from last year, because the other brand I bought was a no-go. Now, I like these because the toes have a cap over them so no matter what she's climbing, kicking, whatever else she does on the playground, the toes are fine. I've bought other high-quality school shoes and I've had to replace them during the year. These lasted a whole year and then some. Don't hesitate, they're worth it.

Great Shoe
I am just looking at my daughter's pair of Becky Black shoes that she wore from start to finish of last school year, and they held up great! I am really impressed with the overall condition. We are moving on to another style this year, but only because she wants a change. I am hoping for the same success. We have had good luck with Pediped for years. I'm so glad as she gets older I can still send her to school in such cute, durable shoes.

My daughter's feet are narrow. She measures an 11D. We get away with wearing an E with socks as I don't think I've ever seen a shoe in a D width. Many shoes in a one-size-sits-all standard width fitting swamp her feet so buying online is a worry. A reviewer mentioned the Becky shoes come with extra padding. Is that in the form of an extra insole, or is there something to bolster the sides if they're too wide? Many thanks!

Hello Josephine, The Flex Fit System is a flat insert that goes under the removable insole. It does not bolster the sides but raises the little ones foot to decrease the size of the shoe up to a half size.

Hello Laura, The bow is stitched into the shoe so it's not a choking hazard for the safety of the little one. If you do decide to remove it there will be holes where the needle penetrated the leather.

Technology

LEATHER

To clean: Simply wipe clean with mild soap and water. Baby wipes of any kind will also work.

To protect: Spray a non-toxic waterproof protectant onto NEW shoes to extend the life of the shoes and make them easier to clean. Polishing will help prolong their life and may remove unwanted marks, such as scuffs and scrapes.

MACHINE WASHABLE

This shoe is not machine washable.

If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, we will gladly accept the return of any product in its unused, original condition for a full refund of the purchase price within 30 days of the purchase date.
