Perfect little boots
These shoes are great for my 1 year old witch is beetween crawling and walking. The silver colour goes with everything, they are soft and confortable, easy to put on and off, but they stay put. And the sole makes them good for outdoor too but still very flexible for her level. I tried more brands, but I will return to Pediped Originals for her spring shoes.

These boots were so soft and snuggly and made it through all the winter with our growing toddler. She wore them outdoors and indoors, and while I tried to keep them from getting wet they did occasionally get rained on (I didn't go so far as stripping her feet naked any time we were outside in cold wet weather to prevent any damage). I would put her in different shoes if she were to be walking outside in the rain - the soles are soft cloth and not really designed for that. But just being exposed to dirt and water while carried never caused a problem, they still held up, no coming apart or anything. They were absolutely perfect for indoor winter use, as she had nowhere near the balance to be able to walk on hard floors with socks and these meant we didn't have to heat our home to 80F through the winter. Unfortunately she outgrew them a bit faster than her other shoes; the best soft fuzzy fit meant they were naturally more snug than her other shoes. Still incredibly worth the $45ish we paid even just for 5 months - they got a ton of daily use and still look good! Another child could wear them next winter and enjoy them all over again.

Hello Ramona, The faux fur is just the inside lining around the shoes, but would not be on the bottom of the shoes.

Hi there, This style would probably be your best option to try, the design isn't as restrictive since it's closure is just one velcro strap at the top. All of our shoes are true to standard size and none of the styles we carry are "wide" specific but some styles, depending on the design, will tend to give you more room to work with than others.

Hello Barbara, Originals are for pre-walkers and early stage walkers. The shoes are also for light outdoor use and to wear them on even surfaces. If they are taking between 20-30 steps on their own without the need of assistants we recommend transitioning into our Grip ‘n’ Go line.

SUEDE

To clean: A suede eraser can be used to remove marks and is available at shoe stores,mass merchandisers, pharmacies, and online at www.kiwicare.com. To use, rub the eraser back and forth over the discolored area until the marks disappear.

To protect: Spray a non-toxic waterproof protectant onto NEW shoes to extend the life of the shoes and make them easier to clean.

This shoe is not machine washable.
