Their three mantras from the beginning were comfort, quality and style, in that order. This is why pediped® was one of the first children’s shoe companies the American Podiatric Medical Association awarded their Seal of Acceptance for promoting healthy foot development. pediped® is designed to protect your baby’s feet from crawling, to those first amazing steps and into the toddler years.
Materials and Craftsmanship
pediped® uses only the highest quality leathers and their craftsmanship is second to none. The soles on an Originals® shoe are 2 layers slip-resistant, high quality leather. The soles on Grip n GoTM are a thin real rubber that provides an ideal level of protection and flexibilty. Flex® products are real rubber that allow maximum flexibility.
Style
pediped® creates shoes that are also stylish but also rooted in timelessness and less trend. The goal was to achieve great style while maintaining comfort and quality. Clean, modern colors, with a nod to the classics, and an element of surprise are the fundamental principles of the pediped® design philosophy. Their primary design considerations continue to be comfort, simplicity, and quality. This philosophy applies to all products that pediped® designs. pediped® hopes that mom and dad like the styles as much as they like the fact that the shoes are healthy for their child’s developing feet.
Corporate
pediped® prides itself on its employees and providing a safe, comfortable work environment for its employees and also providing flex hours for working moms. It is also a member of the Fair Labor Association and does not allow the practice of sweatshops or the use of children in any of its factories.
pediped® is committed to serving its customers, it’s employees, but most of all its community. Charitable donations are one small way pediped® can provide shoes to those who need them or help raise money for organizations that enhance the human experience. pediped® partners with the Make a Wish Foundation on several yearly fundraisers and provides shoes to many other charitable organizations.
