Got this shoe about a week ago and so far so good. Like other posters said it runs big like a half size. It's not a bad thing my little man has room to grow. It drys up quick as well.

My 19 month old little boy received his new Pedipeds in the mail a few days ago. He was so excited to open the box and unwrap his shoes. I was impressed with the look of the shoe and pleased to see that they actually fit as we ordered according to his foot measurements. So far he has worn them every day for a week and loves to put them on. He's able to walk well in them and they are a very light weight and flexible shoe, which helps with his agility. I've got to say that I'm a new Pediped fan and will be buying more Pedipeds in the future.

My son just started wearing size 8 which I ordered & there is room for him to grow. The shoes are a little roomy on him but it doesn't bother him and I just adjust the strap tighter. He will be able to wear them longer this way.

This is my 3rd purchase of these sandals. I love them! I have two boys and being able to wash these sandals has proven to be a life saver, not to mention a money saver! I Normally buy 2 or 3 pairs of everything- inside shoes, play shoes, dress shoes- but these sandals can be all 3 because I can wash them so easily. The boys can easily put on and remove themselves. Not a one complaint here!

This shoe is very good. Wonderful for little feet that play around all day. The only time my son doesn't have any foot pain is when he is wearing Pediped shoes.

My son hasn't tried them on yet, as he was so impressed by his new Saturns that he refuses to wear anything else. But we really liked them, they are better in hand than in pictures!

These shoes are great for my two year old son who would rather be barefoot. They have all the features that I was looking for in a sandal.
1) They are ethically manufactured: "pediped® is also a member of the Fair Labor Association and does not allow the practice of sweatshops or the use of children in any of its factories."
2) The sole is very flexible, like walking barefoot almost. We were given another pair of sandals with very rigid soles, and my son hated to wear them, and he tended to trip. No tripping or fussing in the pedipeds!
3) My son has very tall feet; I think someone else referred to them as "high volume," and it is difficult to find shoes that are tall enough for him and not too big everywhere else. These fit very nicely, and don't bite the tops of his feet.
4) They are well designed. They protect his toes, they are water safe and machine washable. I can put them on him one-handed, while holding my infant, and I am pretty sure that it will not be long before he is ready to learn to put them on himself. Also, the orange and gray is gender neutral enough that I would have no trouble putting them on my daughter a few summers from now.
The price held me back a little, but I finally decided that they were worth the money for two reasons. Fair wages for laborers costs more money than cheap labor, and that is worth paying for. Also, I have no doubt that they will still be in great condition after my son grows out of them, and I plan to hand them down through several children and use them to death. : )

I've put my 21 month old son in pedipeds since he started to walk. They seem to fit so well and are easy for him to walk (and run) in. They are stylish and he always gets compliments. These are no exception and I love the fact I'll be able to wash them when they get dirty. I bought these ad a bright green and navy pair so he's all set for the summer!

Great summer shoe for my busy 2 year old. He has XW-XXW in stride rite and these fit him great. Only complaint is they run large! He is comfortably in the same size sneaker and while these are wearable they are definitely big. Great buy.m

I just bought the next size and I did find then a little baggy around the food, lots of room at the toe too. So I popped an insole in from a previous pair of pedipeds and there perfect!!! My son had them on in the bath the first day I gave them to him!!! He loves them. They are expensive but soooo worth it- my son plays in the mud outside, out in the farm, at the beach, lovely with little trainer socks, the look so smart. Then you can just pop them in the wash! It’s funny how there are more expensive than a different colour though. Will buy these year after year and from the reviews they last year after year so can be handed down to family or friends. I usually end up buying my 4 year old son a few different pairs of shoes each summer (tennis shoes, sandals, water shoes etc). However, I bought these sandals (brown) at the beginning of last summer and never bought any other shoes. My son literally wore them every single day and they still look new!! I am going to order another pair for this summer since his feet have grown! The only thing I noticed was that these shoes do tend to run big so I had to send back the first pair and get smaller pair!!

This is our second year buying these for my son. I bought them for the first time last year for our trip to Disney in may. He wore them at the parks everyday and not once complained about his feet. They are cute and comfy and when he had the choice to pick a new pair for this year he said he wanted the same comfy sandals from last year! They wash great and look fantastic after a five year wore them almost everyday from may to September.

Thank you for the feedback regarding the Sahara. We have adjusted the straps for future Sahara styles and have added a backing so that the strap does not get twisted.

My 3.5 year old boy loved this shoes.
He is so happy with his new shoes. He wears this shoes to his daycare centre everyday.

I exchanged another pair of pedipeds that were too small for my 17 month old for these. The colors are bright and very stylish. My son was immediately drawn to them and tried to put them on over the shoes he was already wearing! These shoes are extremely versatile; they are a perfect choice for parents who are looking for shoes that can be worn with shorts or pants, both indoors and out. They fit great, and look to be very comfortable as well. If you purchase these, you will not be disappointed!

I picked these up after my 2 1/2 year old decided that he thought his baby Keens were "ouchy." I don't think they are really ouchy but he keeps playing in the garden and getting dirt in them. He loves these new sandals and loves that he is able to get them on by himself. There is enough room that he can wear socks if it gets chilly while we are out. They are really soft soled and the material is soft enough that nothing rubs on his bare feet. They are still a bit too big yet but they stay on his feet just fine.

So far, so good! I have repeatedly purchased the sister shoe to this one (the Amazon) but thought I would try something different for my younger son (so their shoes were not exactly alike). There are some minor differences between the shoes but so far I am impressed. The shoe meets my expectations and is inline with the quality of the other pediped shoes we have purchased in the past! :-)

These shoes are exactly what we've been searching for. I wish they were available in size 7 because 7.5-8 is still a bit big. I love their flexibility and that they are washable.

Good shoes but unhappy with the straps

The shoes are nice overall but the fabric straps are not very well designed as they always get twisted and are sliding onto the foot arch. every time we have to put them on we have to untswist the straps, adjust them and then put them on. a bit too much to ask of a 3 year old..

My 5 year old loves this style. We now have it in both blue and brown. He likes that they are comfy, and that his feet don't 'stick' to the bottom of the shoe, which is something he sometimes complains about with other sandals. I like that they are supportive, and protect his toes. Our only complaint is that the velcro closure sometimes comes up off the shoe and across the front of his ankle and needs adjusting back into place.

We are very happy with this purchase. The shoes are true to size. They are comfortable and required not break in period. My son did not have any blisters or sore spots. Another benefit is that they are easy to put on in a hurry and they are perfect shoes for summer weather. My son goes to lots of water parks and they keep his feet protected from the hot surface while allowing him to run through the water. I would buy these again.

This is the second summer I have bought pedipeds for my kids and we LOVE them. My son has wide feet and these fit him perfectly. I love these as they are cool and they stay on and are very comfortable. Also great for going in the boat, to the swimming pool, beach or park. A great versatile shoe! This is our third season buying these shoes just in different colors. My son could wear these every day. He never complains about his feet when he is wearing pediped shoes. My only complaint is that I wish they made shoes for adults and older kids. This will be my son's last year wearing pedipeds.

These shoes are great! Super easy to get on, my 22 month old loves them and doesn't want to take them off when we come inside! I wish they came in more colors. One flaw is a little of the orange thread has come off, but other then that they are great!!

These seem to run a little bigger than you'd think. They were too big on 2 of my sons... but i was happy that the width fit all 3 of my boys, since all 3 have wide feet (one is XW) in stride rite sizes... they are really nice looking- and i love that i can wash them!!
