Henderson, NV, September 2008 - pediped™ launches a Penn State shoe for Nittany Lions fans 0 - 24 months. Chief Operating Officer and Penn State alumnus, Rudy Glocker proudly made the announcement just in time for the 2008 football season.

Glocker, a 4-year varsity Lions football player, also served as President of the Student Athlete Advisory Board and was named the Outstanding Young Alumnus of the Political Science department in 2006. Graduating with a Bachelor and Masters of Arts in Political Science in 1991 and 1993, respectively, he has never forgotten his PSU roots. “Penn State taught me about discipline, dedication and hard work. My experiences there, both on the football field and in the classroom gave me the self-confidence that I could overcome any obstacle. It laid the foundation for me to develop and grow as an entrepreneur.”
Other Penn State alumni also work for pediped.™ The factory making the shoes is managed by a Penn State engineer, class of 1992. He oversees the quality and safety during production, insuring all shoes meet strict safety standards. In fact, Chris Rogers, a 2008 graduate and Academic All Big Ten Football player, helped to design the PSU shoe and ad along with Glocker. Another Penn State graduate is in charge of sales for Pennsylvania.
