pediped^® and the Make-A-Wish Foundation^®

What is your wish? It has always been pediped’s wish to care for children beyond their feet, and we are doing that through our national sponsorship of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Thanks to the succcess of our June 2010 Purchases with Purpose event, pediped has commited to donating another $110,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.  Since 2008, pediped has donated more than $445,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation granting over 60 wishes! We invite you to join us in helping grant wishes to courageous children by participating in our yearly Make-A-Wish® fundraising events.

Thank you to everyone who helped pediped^® raise over $445,000.00 since 2008 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation! 

	pediped® held its first ever Stars for a Wish fundraiser - October 2009 Thank you for your support of pediped's first ever Stars for a Wish—an online auction of celebrity autographed pediped shoes. Recipients received the shoes displayed in a cherry-finished shadow box or clear acrylic box complete with an engraved plaque and authenticity sticker, plus a thank you letter from all of us at pediped. Celebrities who participated include: Jessica Alba, Tim Allen, Halle Berry, Jerome Bettis, Pierce Brosnan, Kenny Chesney, Courteney Cox-Arquette, Marcia Cross, Taye Diggs, Andy Garcia, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Faith Hill, Jason Lee, Shaquille O'Neal, Charlie Sheen, Rachel Weisz and many more! 	pediped® presents the Make-A-Wish Foundation with a check for $111,621 – March 2, 2009 pediped® footwear was thrilled to announce that it more than doubled its 2008 pledge to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. pediped® executives, Angela Edgeworth and Rudy Glocker presented David Williams, Make-A-Wish Foundation of America President and CEO, with a check for $111,621.00.
	Kendall Tenney’s 5K Run for a Wish – January 31, 2009 For the second year in a row the staff of pediped® footwear’s head office in Henderson, Nev.  participated in the 5K run and walk. Participants raised money benefitting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada.
	pediped® & Make-A-Wish Foundation Alliance Kickoff – March 6, 2008 At the pediped Flex™ launch party held at Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York City, pediped® presented the Make-A-Wish Foundation a check for $15,000.00 to officially kickoff the sponsorship. pediped® was not the only donor that night; one of the child models generously donated his earnings, too.
	Kendall Tenney’s 5K Run for a Wish – February 2, 2008 The staff of pediped® Footwear’s head office in Henderson, NV participated in the 5K run and walk. pediped® was awarded the William “Hubba” Mazenkas Trophy for raising the largest amount of donations benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada.
