Does pediped™ footwear stay on?
pediped™ footwear is made from such a soft , pliable leather and is so comfortable that kids enjoy wearing them. They are exceptionally comfortable. Infants don’t even try to take them off! pediped Originals™ also feature Velcro fasteners that ensure shoes stay securely in place.

 How safe are pediped™ shoes?
pediped™ footwear understands that nothing is more important than your child’s safety. This is why pediped™ is committed to only offering products that adhere to the most stringent standard for leather safety guidelines. These guidelines , known as the British and European Safety Standard for Toys (EN 71-3) , ensure that infants and children’s products do not contain harmful levels of substances , such as lead.
In fact , to further guarantee that our shoes are safe , pediped™ conducts thorough random tests at the nation’s foremost leather testing facility to verify that our products are compliant with the standards set forth.
Rest assured that pediped™ footwear is among the safest shoes available. Results from our most recent testing , conducted in April 2008 , indicate that pediped™ shoes do not show detectable traces of substances such as lead. Please bear in mind that this test is extremely stringent and great efforts must be made to comply. At pediped™ footwear , your child’s safety is and always will be our top priority.
How do I care for pediped™ footwear?

Can I put pediped™ footwear in the washing machine?
pediped™ does not recommend machine-washing. Although the shoes will survive the wash , they do not always retain their shape perfectly. Instead , please follow the care instructions outlined on the care instructions page.
Is it safe if my child puts pediped™ footwear in his/her mouth?
Absolutely. pediped™ uses only the highest quality , non-toxic leather to ensure infant safety and peace of mind for parents.
How do you pronounce pediped™?
pediped™ is pronounced "peedy-ped" , as in pediatric and ped (latin for foot).
Where is pediped™ footwear sold?
pediped™ footwear is sold at select children’s boutiques and children’s shoe stores. Please see the Store Locator for the stores nearest you.
Can I exchange or return pediped™ footwear?
Yes. We are happy to return or exchange any unworn shoes in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Please see the Exchange & Return Policy for details.
Are larger sizes available?
Currently pediped Originals™ are available up to size 18-24 months. pediped Flex™ for children ages 2 - 5+ are available up to Euro size 29.
Can pediped™ footwear be worn in the rain or snow?
Like other 100% leather shoes , pediped™ footwear is not recommended to be worn in the rain or snow. They may be worn outdoors , but on dry surfaces.
Why are the soles of pediped Originals™ black?
pediped™ footwear has black soles to keep the shoes looking clean and new for as long as children wear them.

Which forms of payment are accepted by pediped™?
We accept Visa , MasterCard , money orders , and certified checks.
When can I expect my order to arrive?
Orders placed before 2pm PST will be shipped the same day (weekdays). Shipping times from Henderson , NV vary depending on location. If your order has not arrived within 10 business days , please email us at customerservice@pediped.com and we will track your parcel. Shipments to non-continental US states typically take 7-14 business days from the order date. Shipping times to international destinations vary depending on location.
If I sign up for your email list , how often are you going to email me?
We know your time is valuable and we want to ensure that all of our communication with you is meaningful. We introduce new collections two times per year. We may also announce special promotions or events on occasion.
I am interested in carrying pediped™ footwear in my store. What do I do?
You may fill out our new retailer application form and someone will contact you shortly. Make sure to include your Federal Tax ID number , Resale number and a mailing address. Please note that we are not accepting new online accounts at this time.
 I sent an email to customer service and I never received a response. What should I do?
We take pride in our superior customer service. We try to answer every email within 24-48 hours. Please make sure to provide correct email addresses and phone numbers so you can be reached. Also , sometimes our responses are marked as spam and sent to junk mail. Please check your junk mail box before contacting us again.
The style I would like to order is out of stock. How long before it is available again?
Please allow 1-2 weeks for a style to become available. You may sign up to be notified when a style is back in stock by clicking on the "notify me when this style is available" button and leaving your email address. Styles that do not have this button are no longer available. If you need the shoes sooner , we suggest contacting a retailer near you as they may still have the style in stock.
I forgot to enter my coupon code. Can I get reimbursed for the shipping?
We are unable to reimburse shipping fees at this time.
My coupon code isn't working. What do I do?
Please make sure you are entering the code exactly as it appears. After you enter the code click "apply coupon" and you will see a message stating that your free shipping has been applied. When will you be coming out with new styles?
We launch styles twice a year. Our Fall/Winter 2008 collection will be launched later this year. Please check back for great new styles.
What is nubuck?
Nubuck is top-grain leather that has been sanded or buffed to give a slight nap of short protein fibers , producing a velvet-like surface. Nubuck is one of the most expensive leathers available. Nubuck is similar in appearance to suede , but its texture is finer. Unlike suede , nubuck is created from the outer side of a hide , giving it more strength and thickness along with a fine grain.
